On a happier note though...
I watched the Dancing with the Stars finale last night. I totally called the final four in order. Awesome. I loved watching Apolo and Juliane. I adore Joey Fatone (he's on Howard today) and it was nice to see Kym dance more than she could last year with Jerry Springer. I am in total awe of and total lust with Maksim. I admire Ian's determination and will and I always love to watch Cheryl. It turned out to be a not so bad season with a fairy tale ending... and lots of mmmMaksim.

American Idol Season 6 Finale (Finally)

Here we go. I’m not even sure why I’m watching this. My eyes hurt so much from all the eye rolling this season.

Ryan tells Simon he already looks bored. And he does. And it just makes me love him more.

Kelly Clarkson singing live on the Idol stage for the first time since she won. “Never Again” Awesome. Wow! She’s so good. Hot boots.

Oy. The Golden Idol Awards. *rolls eyes* The only thing I will say about them is Cake was robbed of the Best Buddies award. Jonathan and Kenneth were fun though.

Top six guys. FI-NAL-LY! There’s my little Cuddlepuppy. *ovaries* It’s crazy how much I just want to hug him when he’s on the screen. Such a good hugger. Smokey Robinson comes out and spoils my moment. He sounds good though. Looks like they hired the Dancing With The Stars camera men for the finale. Dude, I don’t care what the audience is doing. *rolls eyes* Show me my Chris.

Blake, Doug E Fresh and Barry B. That? was awesome. It woke up a tired season (a few months too late). It’s amazing to me what he can do with his mouth. umm (“what he can do with is mouth” is echoing in my head)… mmmmm Cake.

Ford commercial (“Time After Time”) looks like behind the scenes stuff. So cute that they all got along so well.

ummm... Chris Richardson is gorgeous and adorable, Blake is awesome and Jordin is screechy and that song sucked.
Chris Daughtry should be having his feet licked by everybody that has anything to do with this show. He's incredible. He looked lickable. I might lick his feet. I doubt it.

woo hoo! Go Randy! He is so funny. I loved it in the beginning when they said that only one would win and they held the camera on him for a few seconds. Yeah baby. Playing with his mustache when Carrie Fisher was babbling. Kissing the story he pulled out from under his chair.

I am having a really busy day. I just ventured over to RTVW and saw something that perked me up and made me forget what I was supposed to be doing. So then I checked my email and there it was. The alert.
NBC is leaving the Lights on. I just got done flying around my office like a madwoman and now I am back to my normal, cool and composed self. I have a lot of thoughts about this (Really Glowie? You do?) but I am superbusy so I will have to do that later.

I'm sorry. I just don't care. I keep wanting to and trying to but I don't. I don't even care enough to try to explain why I don't care. So I'll refer you to this. She explained it perfectly.

Just bring on the finale already. If they insist on giving us so much filler, at least fill us with something good (mmmm Cake). If we would have seen more personality oozing out all over the place and making me want to kiss puppies and shit rainbows, like this, I might have had interest in more than Cuddlepuppy's arms and Blake's beatboxing. The behind the scenes footage is so fun to watch. If Chris wasn't eliminated last week forcing me to find out if he really is as nice as he seemed (and wanting pictures of those arms), I might not know that he is funny, sweet, compassionate, and way more talented than we got to see on the show. I have to find you a picture of him holding Phil's daughter. Somebody somewhere said, "hold on to your ovaries, ladies." Thankfully, I listened to her before I looked. yeeesh. We haven't seen a whole lot of any of that this year on the show. It's all hidden on americanidol.com. Seriously? Who goes there? Besides I'd rather see it on my 57" television than on my computer screen. Show us that these people have personalities. I hope they remember that next year. Don't get me wrong. I don't care who is in prison or whose wife used to be a stripper. But. I'd like to know something about them. And please please please no more close ups of 17 year old pageant girl Amazonians trying to put on fake tears for the camera every time somebody else that she doesn't care enough about to muster up any real tears for gets sent home. Throw me a bone. Even a little one to chew on every once in a while. Don't give me a little one in January and then deprive me until May. By that time I don't even want one anymore.

I was a bit bummed about the "talent" left to perform this week. Because I think Chris would have knocked this shit straight out of the park. ah well.

Melinda “Love You Inside and Out” – I really really liked this. The judges didn't. *rolls eyes*
Blake “You Should Be Dancing” – hmmm. His falsetto is very weak and not very good. You know who would have pulled this off? You know who I’m going to say, right? *sigh* I do love Blake though and I hate the attempted vote manipulation. Yes, it happens every year. I know. That doesn't mean I have to like it. Thankfully though, he has a bunch of fans and the Chris Rich fans want to keep him in.
Lakisha “Stayin Alive” – yikesy.
Jordin “To Love Somebody” - dammit. She was supposed to suck tonight.
Melinda “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart” – I thought her first one was loads better. I said, “If they say this was better than the first, I’ll scream." Then Randy said it. Yes, I screamed.

5/2/07 Results Show

Two left us last night. Which two? The two I voted for on Tuesday night. When Phil was singing his song on Tuesday, "I'm going down in a blaze of glory," I said, "yes, you are, sweetheart." He was so good. His exit was classy. Best.sing.out.song.ever. Oh well. And my sweet sweet gorgeous Chris. He.is.so.good.looking. He was good last night too. I loved watching Blake and Chris up there with Ryan talking about their friendship and going on the tour together. And when they were standing by their seats, Chris kept telling Blake to sit down. You could see that Blake was going to cry either way. So sweet. When Chris was singing out, they panned over to Jordin and she kept looking at the camera thinking, I'm supposed to be crying. I should be crying or at least caring like Melinda and Lakisha. I do not like that girl. If she wins, this will be the first year I didn't like the winner at all.

No "shocking" upsets for us this year. The one year it would have been really welcome. And here's the good thing about the final four: Blake's the only one there that won't be splitting votes with anybody. Go Blake!

Chris, call me, cuddlepuppy! I want a Chris hug.

Here's a fun fact. I don't remember #s 9 - 12. #7 was Sanjaya. #8 was Haley. After that, I draw a blank. I'm going to read back through my blog to see who left when. I remember other contestants (Let's see... I remember, Brandon, Stephanie, Sabrina, Antonella, sweet hot Nick who ear fucked me with "Fever", I even remember that Leslie girl that scatted) but I don't remember who left when.
'nother fun fact. I remember liking performances from different people during different weeks but the only ones that I can actually remember are "Time of the Season" and "You Give Love a Bad Name". Both from Blake, tyvm.

Blake “You Give Love a Bad Name” – He looks so good with black hair. I was practically jumping out of my seat! That? was awesome. Yayyyyyyy!!!!! Blake is back! *jumps up and down*

Chris “Wanted Dead or Alive” – ummm. I love Chris Daughtry. I’m not sure if you all know that or not. I was willing to pretend I forgot he did this song during cuddleclonepuppy’s performance. But then he went and reminded us all. So… I liked it but *sigh*. I love cuddlepuppy though. I *actually* think he did really well. Just not Chris Daughtry well. I'd have rather not been forced to compare.

Melinda “Have a Nice Day” – “Tina Turner”? Sure, we could use a Tina Turner like performer. But hi. Melinda ain’t it. The performance? Interesting. She looked comfortable but weird. At least Lakisha didn't pretend to be a "rocker". Better than Jordin though.

Milo Ventimiglia is really hot with a giant scar on his face.






Though I thought he was pretty hot last week too (without the scar but with some scruff). So it can't just be because of the scar. Maybe I just don't like clean cut boys. We watched Rocky Balboa recently too. I wasn't necessarily finding him hot in that one. Attractive? sure but not hot. I'm guessing it's because he was all clean and wearing suits and stuff. My husband asked me if I wanted him to cut a big gash in his face. I told him I would like that very much. mmm dark and dangerous and mysterious and oh so sexy.

We stopped watching 24 when Heroes started up. I'm so glad we did (no not just because of Peter Petrelli's scar) because after the first few episodes of 24, I was bored. I'm not a gigantic Heroes superfan but I do find it really interesting and well written. Plus I am an Ali Larter fan so even if a great story and giant face scar weren't enough to keep me tuned in, her gorgeousness would. Anyway, one or two seasons of 24 was enough for me.

But instead of cancelling a tired show, Fox decided to cancel Drive after four episodes. Shame. Add that to the ever-increasing list of shows that suck me in and then get dumped. (Six Degrees, Reunion, Smith, Heist, Kidnapped ~not that I was overly impressed with the show. I watched it because I'm a Sisto fan~ ... what else? I know there are many more.)

Oh! Speaking of Jeremy Sisto, he of the swoony voice, I was happy to see him on Numb3rs. I hope that turns out to be a co-starring role and not just a guest starring role. I should look into that.

Lost might be losing me too. I still watch it of course, but I don't have to glue myself to it and turn all the lights out like I used to. I thought they were supposedly getting back on track. *shrug* Whatever, I'll keep watching it. I've invested enough time in it to care what the heck is going on. Plus, on my regular shallow note, there's always Josh Holloway.

Do I watch too much television? Absolutely. It's fun though. There's always somebody to make a girl all swoony and fluttery. I'm not sure how I'd handle it if everything suddenly ends up five years in the future and all the guys have sexy scars on their faces.
