oh my. Poor Nick.

I told Shawn on Tuesday night that I wanted to find that song as sung by Nick to load it onto the iPod and do a striptease for him (when I don't gross myself out naked).

ugh and sweet little AJ!

Why do I torture myself year after year by watching this show?

I was very upset at the male bootees. I loved AJ, and Nick did not deserve to go at all.

At least they got the women right. Well, not *right* exactly, but I was happy with those boots.

While there are a few others that I thought deserved to go before them, I wasn't surprised to see Nick & AJ go.

I was ok with the female boots, although I did like Alaina (I think that's her name). I didn't think she sang well but she was cute and I kept hoping she'd sing well.

I don't think those should have been the two guys to go. I'm ambivalent towards AJ, but there were a couple of others that I think shouldn't have gone before Nick. Sanjaya - I want to like him, I liked him in the auditions, but like I told a friend at work when we were discussing it, he comes across like a young child being made by his parents to sing for their friends. It's like he is either not wanting to be there, and is only doing it to please his family (and being very half-hearted about it), or he's just too shy or introverted to be comfortable performing in front of people. I think for his own good, he needs to be booted soon. Of course, I could be completely wrong. And then I think Brandon needs to go soon, too. He still performs like a back-up singer. He has a good voice (but I didn't care much for what he did to that song this week), but he doesn't have any spark.

As far as the girls, Antonella needs to go, but as long as VFTW is behind her, she'll be sticking around. I thought she would do better voice wise than what she has so far.
